Did the instructions explicitly state that you should avoid dropping it on your foot "as this may cause injury"? If not then you've got quite a case in court...
Just like the moron who sued McDonalds (and won!!! WTF???) cuz the coffee cup didn't have a Warning Label that hot coffee can burn you... ???????

were you trying to lift it up to do some work to it? about a month ago my bro was trying to pull the bulbs outta his gsxr 600, and he dropped one in the headlight housing. I was holding the rear tire as high as i could so he could get it out. THAT SUCKED!!! I didnt drop it on my foot tho.....
