FWIW, I have 4 pairs of Harley gloves, and all of them work with the GTS touch screen, even the big thick insulated gloves. I can't speak for the phone, it stays in the cubby, and I use CarPlay.
Having said; I just left my favorite gloves in the world at a bar in Cody Wyoming a couple weeks ago and Harley no longer makes them, so I am ordering some Mechanix Durahide gloves, I hope they work with the touchscreen
