I really considered it, however, decided against it. I have seen several bikes that looked really good with LEDs. Just not my thing.

Not a chance... You could not pay me to put them on my bike.
I cannot think of a more worthless accessory.
I actually laugh every time I see a bike with them on.

Default LED accent lighting?

Everyone has different tastes, that is what motorcycling is almost all about.
1) Putting on lights while on the road (driving) to illuminate the side profile of your bike with accent lighting does make your bike more visible at night. A definite + to being run over!
2) Never understood why LED’s are needed in a parking lot when the bike is parked. Either the owner is starved for attention or something else like that (my opinion only).

3) Never understood glue/bolt on chrome either. If it does not do something, why have it? This philosophy is where we get this whole motorcycle customizing craze from in the beginning starting with the "Bobber".
4) I prefer to modify my frame, motor, trans and suspension to make it corner safely & with authority and ride smooth (& I mean smooth). In my opinion, that is what motorcycling is all about. The Road & not the Show.
5) No more money or time for anything else + they weigh too much, rather go faster.
6) Thanks for this thread! I used the above info (LINKS) contained in this thred. I need another 1” of clearance to get rid of that under fender hidden tail light LED bucket and allow for another 1” of shock travel. I will use a flush mount LED tail light.
7) See what I am talking about at 915 Main Street, Sturgis, SD, & I will show you why you will not ride another Harley suspended motorcycle unless you are broke and have no choice. Seeing is believing. Harley's ride, corner & brake like S*it. Come and see it for yourself, PERIOD!
8) I really work on Fl’s and I will have one FL there for viewing.
