Going down the highway about 80 and I hear a pop, I was exiting the next exit anyway I get to the light I still felt fine. Then turning it was really heavy in the back. Sure enough flat as sh it waiting on the tow truck
Been there man, came off an interstate ramp after passing a semi going around 80 and bang, blew out going less than 25 mph. If it happened at 80 mph not sure either one of us would be able to write about it.

You should carry either a plug kit and mini compressor, or a can of tyre seal/inflation. Either is small to carry and will get you off the highway and home so you can the flat professionally fixed the next day.
in case you call.. this is what you get ! ha.. Pretty cool how they lifted it in there.
Damn tire was only 5 months old. I Was going to get a can of sealant for the trip next month.. I'll be sure too now.

It actually popped before I excited. Didn't even feel it until I turned at the light. PITA
If you heard a pop, I doubt a can of fixaflat, plug or air compressor will help. You had a blow out.
Speed, temperature, load and inflation or a combination of it caused the failure.
If the pop happened while you were leaned over, you might have gone down.
Gotcha.. was wondering if a can of sealant would have helped that.. The way is sounded, I feel good to just be able to get it pulled over..
I'll going down tomorrow and look at the tire.
I once ran over a piece of deer antler that put a hole in the rear tire while riding two up. When I moved over a bit for a truck coming outta a driveway it felt like I was on snow. I told the ol' lady we got a flat and I'm pulling over. We had to wait for 2.5 hours for her son to grab a trailer to come get us. Grrrrrrr!
I rode a flat for about 10 miles doing 70 or so,it didn't pop or blow out but the bike started feeling a little funny.Sidewalls on those tires are hard as a rock.
