There are a lot of dealers that think anniversary and limited paint set bikes are worth a couple extra grand. I have 3 within a 100 miles of me that are like that. Even though most of the time those bikes MSRP already have that calculated into the cost. Look on cycle trader or hell I've even heard a couple good things about rumble on . There are a lot of other better deals out there.

May be a great bike, but that’s a lot of money. Pricing may vary by area, but this is an example of bikes near me.

Can find a lower price with fewer miles. If u ride alot the first couple of years you'll be pushing 50k miles & nobody will want it if you decide to resell.

As previously pointed out, that "110th Anniversary" thing has ZERO meaning except to the dealer who wants to use it to try to milk a few more bucks outta you. That's especially so if you ever wanted to do anything that altered it from bone stock.
At 35,000 mi. you're VERY quickly going to leave "low-mile-world" and find yourself in "keeper-world". In other words...35k isn't an issue if you're buying this bike to keep for many years and 100,000 plus miles. Being that it's your first Harley though...you might not know the answer to that yet.

Yup, if I ran a dealership and new sales were down (like they are) that's exactly what I'd do.

FYI to the OP: Line up your own financing with a local credit union and hit the private used bike market. Most HD dealerships offer absolutely zero added incentive to buying a used bike, unless you're into paying for piece of mind even if it's false. Hell, half of them don't even do an "inspection", they just give it a bath and pop it on the internet/showroom floor.

Never EVER buy used anything from a dealer. Always buy lo-mile mint used from a private prty.

No top end needed

Think about it, that bike you are looking at gets ridden which is good because all the seals in the engine are still in good shape compared to a low mileage 10 year old bike.

Overall the bike does look to be in great shape, I'm just concerned about excess mileage.. ideas??
Good call on the Wide Glide. I think when I bought my SGS I had no intention of trading my Wide Glide in but the dealer said they would give me around $7500 for it since they were familiar with it. It was a 2012 and had around 23,000 miles on it then, which would be two years ago in June. Not sure what they would have asked for it when they tried to sell it. I did keep it, and glad I did. Although now, the SGS already has more miles than my WG does. Still, I would say my WG is my preferred bike of the two. Its just not as comfortable for touring .

Good deal yes. But the 2013 being the cutoff year before the Rushmore bikes drops the price. Ive seen deals like that around here.

And yeah, that's stupid expensive for the "Anniversary" Glide. Not even sure what makes that one different.

All 3 of my bikes are over 35k. My miles, except one around 35k tht I bought cheap and put 10-15 on. Point is I feel better about higher mileage when I am knowledgeable of bike. Not that, really prevents any wear.

All that said, people buy bikes, and don't ride them. It wrecks the prices for the rest of selling, but leaves lots of bikes to buy.

Myself I don't want anything to low. Need to work the bugs out.
