Default Chrome rust.
I have a 2018 Limited that is starting to rust on highway bars. Also around the ring around the headlight. Took it to the dealer and they asked me if I had pool cleaning chemicals or mulch, in my garage where I keep the bike or if the bike was at the beach. I also have a 2013 CVO Breakout and a 2017 Iron 883 with no rust. They called Harley and They won't do anything to replace the parts. I never had a Harley. Anyone ever have the same problem?

I would think anything not a wear and tear item is covered for 2 yrs. My rims started flaking the chrome off and it was covered 1 week before 2 yrs. I'd call Harley direct

They're not going to cover something they can't confirm the maintenance or enviroment on.

Road salt residue is hell on chrome.
