Default Leaky valve stem

Here we go. I bought tires online and had them mounted and balance at the local Honda dealership cause the owner is a friend of mine. They did not put a new valve stem in the tubeless rear tire which is mounted on a solid rim. The tire is now losing about 2lbs of air per day around the valve stem. Is there a way to seal this without removing the tire from the bike? Can the nut on the stem be removed and a gasket be placed under the nut? Thanks Ride safe.

No. Not really. You'll need to take the wheel back and have a new valve put in. You can never really seal a high to low pressure gradient from the outside.

If the tire is wide enough and the sidewall is flexible enough, you could install a new valve stem in the wheel without removing the tire.

You can try changing the Schrader valve yourself for about 20 cents.
Any hardware store.

If your lucky the inside of the valve stem my need to be tightened. Also get a bowl with soapy water and use a brush to go around the bead and valve stem to confirm the leak.
