So somewhere today I lost my key and fob out of my pants pocket at work. I drive a truck running local routes and had 12 stops so no telling where it is.
How do I go about getting a replacement and changing the security stuff?
Edit to add that Yes I am pissed as hell too.

 

A dealer can get you another key and a fob and program it to your bike. Assuming that someone picking up the key and fob has no idea as to what bike it goes to, you shouldn’t have to worry about changing everything.

Hopefully you have another fob or at least know your pin. Need one of the 2 or it's going to get very expensive, very fast. If you have 1 of them, easy-peasy, dealer can order the barrel key and probably have the fob in stock.

Ignition, saddle bags, etc. A barrel key is the round style key.

 

Did you buy the bike new? If so, you should have the little code that came w/keys for re-ordering.

 

Order two keys and two fobs so you'll have a spare if you lose one

 

Yes I still have another key and fob.

 

No I bought it used from my local dealer. Got 2 sets of keys and fobs. Now down to one set. :-(
