We're moving to NC (Raleigh) and wondering what other "movers" have done with shipping their bikes. Our moving company will put them on the truck and that looks like what most shipping companies do too. Just wondering if anyone's had trouble doing that.
And while we'd love to ride them there, we can'tdue to timing. They and we have to be down there quickly (new jobs with little time off).
Hey there - no problem with using the moving company. I helped them strap the bikes in with sh*tloads of padding. Made it down there in perfect condition. Rode both of them to the local watering hole an hour after they gotoff the truck.
Cost: Dedicated MC shipper: $650/bike. With the movers: $150 for both.
