Thankfully it was at night so probably no injuries.

But that would suck if you purchased a bike yesterday and were picking it up today.

"I'm here to pick up my new CVO Road Glide. I don't see it. Can you roll it out? "

"See that black charred thing in the corner?"

If you already purchased the bike, I wonder how insurance would handle something like that. Would your policy cover it or the dealers?

Looks like it was in the metric building, in the service bay.

The dealerships insurance will pay for ALL motorcycles damaged or destroyed in the fire, including customers.

I wonder if any of the bikes that are repairable and can be sold will need to sell with a "salvage" title?

Unlikely. I'm friends with a salesman on the metric side. He said they've broken their sales record in each of the last three months.

The buildings are connected by a tunnel, so it's likely there will be some smoke damage in the Harley part of the compound. I did hear the Harley store is open today, but that's just rumor as far as i'm concerned.

The canceled the event they were having Saturday.

The Harley side IS open today, and the metric employees are working with the Harley guys on the Harley side. Consider it confirmed.

There was some construction going on in the area of origin... suspicions are that something related to the construction caused the fire.
