Default Deadwood update
Just to let everyone who is coming out for the Sturgis Rally that Deadwood has a lot of road construction happening. The construction includes some one lane spots on the way to Central City as well as downtown areas. I don't see how it will be done before the rally. Ride safe.

It will get done by rally time. They always finish up projects by then, somehow.

My son and I will be doing Sturgis the week before the event - Deadwood being a planned destination; hopefully it won't be too bad.

In case you missed my location, I live in Rapid City, I know what can get done and what can't. This won't.

Not long. They have some cones up where it was and they are doing some curb installation in that general area. The curb will be done easily before the Rally starts.

The dot traffic page shows one of the projects won't be completed until later September.

Are they doing construction in the downtown section where the road is brick? I hope not. never having been I was hoping to spend some time there

There is some there as they are making a new square downtown. I think most of that will be cleaned up by Rally time though.
