I bought a 2014 Ultra Ltd from a HD dealer a year and a half ago. While out riding 3 weeks ago, the saddlebag fell off and was trashed. Went to dealership and ordered the new color matched bag and hardware. 670$. Brought it up at work next day. Guy said they had a recall on them for the pins and springs. I was never told this, and it had the old ones still on it. Bring this up with the dealership? Call HD? Seems I'm out money for something that should have been taken care of, before I bought it.
Didn't the 14's have the new style bags with the handles inside the bag that screw on? The old style bags with the 2 clip ons were known for "helping" bags to fell off but I thought the 14 model year and the new style bags corrected that "defect"..

Won`t hurt to bring this up with the dealership. I would go to the service desk and ask.
