Default Weight Limit

I am having issues looking up the maximum weight carry capacity for my 2019 RG Special.
Does anyone have this info or a link? Thanks

The Owner's Manual has this information clearly stated in the "Specifications" section: 505 lbs. This link should show you an owner's manual (HERE).

You can figure it out by using the sticker on the side on the frame. GVWR - Vehicle Weight = carrying capacity.

GVWR is the maximum weight of EVERYTHING (bike, accessories, cargo, riding gear, passenger and rider). Subtract the vehicle weight from GVWR to figure out carrying capacity.

At this link (HERE), it has GVWR for a 2019 Road Glide Special as 1360 lbs. and vehicle weight as 855 lbs. Therefore, 1360 lbs. - 855 lbs. = 505 lbs.

Tire combined capacity = ?
Vehicle weight = ?
Cargo weight = ?
Occupant weight(s) = ?

Add up the vehicle weight, cargo, occupant weight and subtract that from your tires weight capacity. This is how they determine what a vehicle can carry. They will never exceed the tire weight limit.

I checked the same question for sportsters.
It is quite curious that all XLs have the same GVWR of 454 kg (1000 lbs). So lighter and smaller models with less features and even less engine have more maximum allowed load.
First i checked XL1200T which i want to buy, and it has only 183 kg load allowed, almost the same as my lighter 650cc Pegaso, which has 180 kg allowed.
Other sportsters, for example:
XL1200X - 449 lbs, 204 kg.XL1200V - 441 lbs, 200 kg.

XL883L/N - 435 lbs 198 kg.

I know a guy that weighs 350 and his wife 280. They have had their current Ultra Classic all over the country.
