Another stupid ESP question
Aftermarket components or SE components installed after 60 days from new, won't void your coverage, but if the failure was a result from these components, the claim could be declined.
The only plan I know of, which WILL cover aftermarket components and not require a "blind eye" to be turned to their presence is the Eagle Guardian Plan. (https://www.motorcycleagent.com/eagleguardian) This plan is designed to be better than most manufacturer's factory warranty. If the aftermarket components is designed for the bike and properly installed, the component can be covered.
H-D's latest release (8/20/2019) has the CNA plans has a touring bike's coverage over $2600 for 5 additional years. We have plans for the same duration, which can be purchased for nearly $1,000 less. The companies we've partnered with provide the same claims process as H-D's administrator--CNA. There is no involvement from a selling dealership during claim. You bring your bike to the repair facility of your choice and they get paid directly. If there is an emergency or your dealership doesn't want to assist, you can process the claim yourself. We are here to help--similar to your insurance agent.
