Need a new battery
Guess it was time. 1997 Heritage Softail classic. Don't know how long the previous owner had this battery but it's died twice now. Any recommendation? Evo engine and an occasional Garmin. I've not done an Amazon battery as usually there is a core exchange/ charge. Fill me in. Used to work at a dealership and I did it right there at work and got discounts. Now I'm flying solo.

I get 7 years out of Harley batteries, so one of the few things I am pro Harley. There has been talk of deka or optimum making their battery. Doesn't mean specs are same. I may be over paying. They have doubled last 10 years.
Also I put the old one in lawn tractor, turns that little motor over for a while.

I just bought an Energizer through Them. From what I saw on the reviews and said in the forum it is a good battery. Well see.
It was quick and easy when I needed one. They are pretty much in all major cities and has two year warranty.

Next time take it to Advance Autoparts. They give you a $10 gift card for any battery returned. Took my old battery plus 4 smaller 12V's from an electric scooter. Just wanted to get them recycled and all of a sudden they handed me a $50 gift card.
