If you don't have a ramp wide enough to put your feet down...the video shows the most likely result...

Clearance for your head will be minimal...several people to help wouldn't hurt ...

I put a remote control wench in my toyhauler for loading in less that ideal conditions...like rain...which came in handy last week at Bama Bike Fest

Anyway, my concern is about when the bike is on the ramp, it might probably be too tall when in "oblique" position instead it might fit if it was pushed in the van from an horizontal surface.

Go to Menards, or Home Depot and rent a pick up truck for 20 dollars....I think the Menards by me has a flatbed with a hydraulic bed that tilts for easy loading.

Yes , the hight and lack of tie downs will probably be the biggest issues , a pick up with a high quality WIDE ramp or just rent a U haul they work good and are inexpensive

Anyone considering loading a bike in a truck or van should have to watch that video. But if you are really that stupid, not much help for ya...

With the right equipment a quality Big Boy EZ Rizer 47” WIDE ramp like this one secured properly , it’s not as hard as you would think. Most of U Tube video fails are guys doing stupid sh! T crap ramps not safe for a bicycle never mind a 700# bike..
Check this U Tube Video out

guys sorry, i probably didn't explain it correctly

- i want to buy the van. thanks to the ones who suggested to rent it, but that was not my point.
-i dont get why you keep posting videos of how to load a bike on a pick up truck when i am talking about a cargo van and my problem is not how to load the bike but to fit the bike into the van due to its height!

As I mentioned in a previous post, the height will probably be the issue , I tried getting my bike in the largest rental vans I could find ( not sprinters ) and once I rode up the ramp there was no way I was getting my bike in the van , even ducking way down , I felt I wouldn’t clear the top and probably not be able to control the bike safely. Maybe it’s just me or my particular bike but it wasn’t going to happen maybe you’ll have better luck .

BTW the ramp idea/brand was just a suggestion and can be used for the van too, the pick up / video was just a response to another’s post. Good luck with it

Two vans over the years. took the seats out and hauled my bikes. Many were Touring. No problems. Had installed chock and tie downs. Had wide 8' ramp and 12 volt winch. Sat on bike with a remote control and rode it up. One man job and safe.
