Not pushing you in either direction but, compare bikes from other brands too so you want say, man, I wished I had tried that one before I bought !!! I think in the end, as already stated, get back in the saddle asap and pick what's best for you and your comfort zone and #1 goal, stay safe and enjoy the ride whatever you choose !
Do you plan on getting another Road King? Fairings and the gadgets associated are over rated IMO.
As much as I liked the RK I'm thinking of going back to a Low Rider, put some bags and a windshield on it and its a capable touring bike, would have to switch out the bars though and add cruise control.
So it looks like I might have a sissy bar w/ backrest & a rack for sale.
