Wow!! $47.95... I didn't pay near that at my local Harley dealer 2 years ago.

What he said....... my 3 year batteries generally last for 6 or 7 years.. I believe the tender lengthens the years of service I get with the battery too...

I always kept my bike on a tender during winter. Then I got more bikes, and the lesser-used ones sit on tenders most of the summer and all winter long. Now I have a trailer that my Harley goes into, and it apparently doesn't like not being on a charger, so my wife got me the 15w battery tender solar panel for my birthday. Now my Harley can keep its battery charged up all the time

I highly recommend them, it's just one less thing you have to do (plug into a charger) before going for a ride. My first battery lasted 6 or 7 years before I killed it (put the battery tender ring terminal between the battery terminal and main bike harness - oops).

Have not tried one personally but I have seen others report that they work just fine. They sure have a ton of good reviews.

If my bike is in the garage, it’s hooked up.

I think that "Farm" store is going to price themselves out of business. Seems like quite the markup, when they can be purchased elsewhere for $25-$30. Do you mind sharing the name, so I can avoid them?
