So i been working on this breakout all summer and now winter is here and no more riding and im stuck trying to decide what mod i want next.
so its between air ride for the front and rear or apes
apes would be 16 and although i love the way the apes look i also love the factory drag bars and i also have the thunderbike short risers
as far as the air ride the front end is already 2 lower with progressive suspension from when i threw the 26 on there and the rear is dropped with the links.
i like the way is sits now but dropping it would be nasty. And i like the way the drag bars look but apes would be nasty too
bikes getting painted black and i got a wrap around front fender for it
buget is for apes or air ride cant do both what you guys think
Depends on what's more important to you...changing the look, or the ride quality. The 16" apes would definitely change the look, and the air-ride would greatly improve the ride quality, (but with your bike already lowered wont do much to change the look).
I am not sure apes would look right on your style of bike. Its long and low and the lines flow easily from front to back. IMO, apes will throw the lines off.
Love the color and the theme of the bike, just not a fan of the giant Ferris wheel of a front wheel. I personally think it throws off the lines of the bike...but that's me.
That being said I do not think apes will look right on this bike as it is now
