just be aware that there are 2 different products that both claim the same benefit. i used the product by rockout rocker products. put them on my 2013 cvo 110 and it made a tremendous amount of difference in the top end. but, the 110 cvo motors are a little different animal. i would not hesitate to use them in my 96, 103, etc. they are an easy install to do by yourself. even easier if your mechanic is already going to have your heads off.
Thanks brother, great to hear from another happy Rockout user.
Always happy to answer any questions about my products or help in any way,
John @ Rockout

Thanks all of you guys, for the additional info so far.
Funny detail; Even my bike-shop-repairman has now changed his opinion about it. He is looking forward to give it a try, and today he ordered them himself for my bike..!
Very strange that the biggest supplier in Holland for Harley-parts (zodiac.nl) doesn't have them in their catalog at all.
John @ Rockout ; Are they not interested? or perhaps they will be very soon...(?)

Tell your mechanic to not use power tools to install them.
Doing so will deform the material the lockers are made of.
I know this because a friend of mine installed them and used power tools.
He had to drill out a bit of the material to get his rocker arm bolts to go through the lockers.
Other than that they worked great!!!!!!
Talked to my local HD dealer service advisor these and they said they would install these with your engine work. but, he sounded like he didn't care to open an R.O. on something like this and besides he said " the techs don't think they are really necessary", I looked at him like this is something the customer is interested in and you don't want to do the work. I walked away scratching my head on that one.

Most dealer will say that's just the sound a Harley makes. My dealer hadn't heard of RockOuts until I walked in to his office with a link to their web site. Really quieted down my 2012 Ultra.

John,
Unfortunately your rockout dealer in the Netherlands is closed until 21 januari.
They are not my product. Could be one of the dozens of Chinese made kits out there.

At this moment, my bike is in the repair-shop (for an S&S-Gear-drive modification), so this is the right moment to do it. (If not now, then probably never...). Especially now, when the engine is open already anyway.
The price for the part is close to nothing, and to me it seems like a very good 'must-have-modification', but couldn't find any useful information about it in this forum. The only thing what's making me suspicious is that to me these aftermarket-parts seem not very well-known or very popular. The bike-shop-owner-repairman never even heard about it. He never mounted or sold them to any of his other clients. He recommended me not to do it, for very very vague reasons. He claimed that; "It's probably not good, otherwise Harley-Davidson would have mounted it themselves also in the factory...". It's impossible to convince me with an argument like that! (I think he just doesn't want to take any risks with something that's new or unknown to him).
Does anyone of you have a good/bad experience with rocker lockers? Any warnings or recommendations, from someone who tried them already?
Thanks,
Jochem
