Beanoboy, thank you, Mr Norty I was wondering what other cylinders might fit mine a 1999, 883 Sportster, this is my first Harley so i'm not sure what is interchangeable between models

You're going to have to stick with the sportster engine configuration. The 1200cc (74cu.in.) is a very good option for increasing the performance on your 883cc. HD has a "1200cc kit" just for the 883 engine. Part # 29784-07 (fits 2007 - later)
or 30003-10 (for non highlighted black paint.) Fits 2008-later.
Either look to be about $1200.
Got this info from my 2016 HD book.

you can get forged cp pistons and 1250, 1275 from Hammer Performance at well below 1200 bucks. Better quality imho too.
i wasn't aware of that. i just remember them from way back in my sportster days (2002-2006). the website was still up and running.
dare i ask what happened?
Dan Dunn, owner of NRHS used to be teamed up with the 2 owners of Hammer Performance. They split up in 2011-2012ish. Dan Dunn is nothing more than a salesman that has been banned from numerous forums such as this and numerous Facebook Harley performance groups. He stopped operations in Colorado awhile back and sells his kits out of his basement. Nothing new has evolved from NHRS since the 2 owners of Hammer Performance left him.......
A business owner that gets banned from forums and public groups because he cant control himself is someone I dont recommend doing business with....
