Wait...I have a heel shifter taken off my '03 RK, it's scratched up a bit but adds to the great patina.

I'll sell it for $99.95 plus $10.00 shipping..paypal is ok but add another 3% to cover their fee.

Same here. Came from Brit bikes, Sportsters and Dynas. I tried to use that heel (not heal) shifter thingy, but my foot would not cooperate.

I have the heel-toe shifter on my Slim S and honestly I prefer it over just the front shifter. When I bought my first bike- '00 Fatboy- it had the heel-toe shifter and I just learned to use it and found it easier to shift and I find I can shift quicker on acceleration. To each their own though........

That heel shifter may cost YOU $40, but it costs Harley Inc $1.82...

OP said the dealer claimed that the moco saved $40 by deletungbthe heel shifter.

But I guess I need to put a 1 in front of the $40 worth of savings the moco isn't passing on to me.then.

Never liked the heel shifter, but the bag liners that came with my ultra (2006) are indispensable when traveling and staying in hotels.
Open the lids, grab the bags walk to room. All your stuff together. I would miss that.

You must have your's adjusted wrong. On mine, all I had to do was pull in the clutch and it would shift up by itself That's why I had to take it off.

Before anyone that thinks I'm being serious starts flaming me, J/K.

I think generally people tend to stomp on it (even if they think they're not) causing more damage
