No apology needed. We've all seen posts become hijacked and turn in to a flame war. You didn't start anything with your thread, so nobody blames you. Lot's of different personalities on this forum and varying opinions..which is what makes this place interesting. Where it becomes a problem is when members start with personal insults/attacks. Two newer members, who I won't mention but we know who they are decided to make this a personal thing and started with the insults. Nothing starts a flame war faster, than name calling. Since the insults were directed at me, I had plenty to say in response. Consequently your thread was shut down. One of the same two members started two more threads last night and managed to get both of them shut down. He even got in to it with one of the Moderators. Needless to say, the threadwas locked, the other deleted entirely and the member...I'm not really sure, but he may not be back.
mershon-
I'm not a Moderator, so I'll leave it to them to address your "dipshit" insult. However I will say, this isexactly the kind of thing that starts wars around here. Maybe that was your intent? Either way, I'm letting it go and will notget in to it with you.
