I run a dehumidifier and try to keep moisture below 50%. I use a kerosene heater when I'm out there working. The dehumidifier works better when the air is warmed to over 65.

Are we talking detailing or simple less labour intensive protection in storage here? ACF 50 and a light cotton sheet. For longer term storage the Harley goes in a bike bubble depicted behind the Indian. You can put the bike away in the bubble wet, open the front and rear vents and it'll dry in about 30 minutes. Despite being in a garage I bought an outdoor one as it is double skinned and more harder wearing with UV resistant woven material. The previous one I had was an indoor clear PVC type but the PVC degrades over time in extremes of temperature, brittle in the cold and soft and supple in the heat, it still lasted me over 10 years in constant use before eventually cracking/splitting.

I have a 2020 with 6 miles on it parked in my attached garage. This is in the Cleveland area so we do have Winter weather.
I keep the garage clean and closed as much as possible and use a BATTERY TENDER. I don't start or ride the bike after the first salt goes on the streets.
I have never, ever sprayed anything on the bike or put stabilizer in the gas. Winter is when I play with the bike so I have a small propane heater in the garage and usually don't even cover the bike.
My bikes ALWAYS look like new when I trade them in.

A good cleaning followed by whatever polish or wax you prefer, top the gas tank off, park it in the shed, hook up the battery tender and point a small fan at it. This has been my routine for the last 20 years or so and I've never had any problems in an unheated shed...

If it makes you happy to put fuel stabilizer in the tank, then do so. Waste of money, imho.

Just give it a very thorough washing and detailing. Make sure when you dry it off, that you do so thoroughly. I use a small blower. Wax, glaze, polish....whatever amazing product that you have decided is the most amazing product ever...use that. Put a tender on it.

I've done absolutely nothing to mine except put some Stabil in the tank for the past 9 years.
I have a none heated garage that gets opened all the time so I can take out my other bikes.
No cover and no wax or sealants. Bike still looks great with no rust or corrosion.
It gets condensation on it and some dust but a quick wash before the first ride and she's fine.

ACF 50 is supposed to be really good if not the best.

Me. I don't use anything. I just don't ride once the road authorities start spraying salt and wait until there have been a good few rainfalls in spring to clean the roads.

Also, don't use a cheap motorcycle cover. I did at first but they trap moisture and your bike is just wet all winter. I now use a regular bedsheet and the bike stays dry.

Have to disagree will chemical guys being some of the best. Their soaps are the best thing they have going, but other then that, everything else is extremely underwhelming.
If you compare their stuff to the other stuff they sell at Wally World then that I can almost agree with you.

Why do you think it's a waste?
