Default Fluid changing

I recently purchased a 2015 Heritage Classic with 2000 miles and would like opinions on if I should change any fluids. The local dealer said no, but 5 years seems like a long time to have the same fluids.

As the story goes, oil left in engines extended period will cause corrosion to metals. I saw studies where that isn't so to any measurable degree. So... do what make you sleep good at night.

Oh yeah, Welcome to the forum with a controversial first post on oil. Maybe you intended it that way. That's all I'm going to say.

Would you leave 5yr old oil in you car or truck?....I think the answer is pretty obvious, just saying.

If it were me I’d change it. If you do your own work it less then $50 if you have to pay someone then about $200 it’s well worth it.

It's my standard operating procedure for any used item I buy with an engine, be it a vehicle, bike or lawnmower
20-30 minutes and $20-$30 bukz is cheap piece of mind to me .

so me personally, I certainly would

Is this your first motorized vehicle purchase? Just curious.

That makes a lot of sense :-). No intention of being controversial but I can see how it could be.
