Last week I was told by "Mark" at Javalina HD in Boerne that they were selling the 07s at $500 under MSRP. With the 08s already out, I would rather buy an 08 for MSRP. A year old model should be $2000-2500 off. Not saying I will ever find that.
I bought 2 07 bikes at Stubbs for Msrp from Brandon Jones, He went to their new dealership at San Jacinto Harley 281-991-4275. He is a vet that was in Afganistanand got injured by a granide over there. Brandon is a real nice salesman. My buddy went after me and bought his bike from Brandon too.
I know some other dealers that will sell at Msrp let me know if yer intersted.
ORIGINAL: Blackmouth
I see nothing but MSRP for '07's around here...not just at Caliente either
I'm not sure if you, Rush, were looking at MSRP on any new motorcycle, or only an '08. I have no idea what price they are selling '08's for.
Considering he said FAT BOB, it would have to be an 08. And everyone can't really say " So and So dealer is selling 07's for under MSRP..." since the new models are out.. of course they are gonna sell 07's at or below MSRP... this has nothing to do with what they will sell the 08's for.
Right now H-D has a 4.99 % interest rate for 5 yrs. After the 08's come out they will mark the 07's down about 1000.00.
Don't know which models its gonna be on but I hear some of the 08 bikes are gonna be Drive by Wire. Like on yer car and truck. Don't think I'm ready for that yet. I will stick with my 07 model There was a lot of improvments for 07. It just takes some time to get the pipes off a high flow air intake and a TM A/T on to make it run better.
Try Texas Thunder Harley in Nacogdoches. I stopped in there on the way back from a funeral headed to Houston. They had some pretty good prices on their bikes. They don't have much in the way of choices 'cause they are pretty small. But they have only been there for 5 years and I'm thinking they would deal this time of year. There is an awesome looking R/K Custom in Razor Red that I would kill for. Price tag is $30,000.
