my Harley screaming eagle air cleaner arrived missing one screw that's bolts air cleaner to the throttle body. its a special screw with threads only on the bottom half. Harley refuses to send me one. wants the whole air cleaner returned. this is such bs. why would I ever buy anything from the online store again. any ideas where I can buy one? thx
At my local Harley dealer, they have all sorts of used parts and items the keep organized and sorted in a large spot in the underground garage. I have picked up a few odd or hard to find items there. I would call your local and ask.
go to home depot if you know the size threads. and bolt it probly dosent matter if it has threads all the way up. or lowes , ace hardware. check it out. if you have a bench grinder then just sand off the threads that you dont need.
Or look at the instruction sheet for the air cleaner and the last page will have all the parts listed and their respective part numbers. Go to a dealer and buy the screw itself.
