Most are closed groups so you have to ask to join. You will see several of the same items offered for sale on multipe sites (folks just trying to maximize exposure to what hey have). Never had an issue with the few items I have bought though.
Guess your only other option is Craigslist or ebay.
And lastly, the complete system is not going to be cheap. Yes you could not give them away back then, but there are very few out there now and people selling the system know it.
