I got a RAM-X phone holder from eBay for less than $15, and it has a USB charging port built in, so you can keep the phone charged while riding. It works great, and with the straps, holds the phone VERY secure. I have taken photos and video with my phone from the holder, and it looks as good or better than a GoPro, or so I've been told. It mounts under the mirror, so easy to install, and I just ran the wire under the tank direct to the battery for the USB port. There is a switch on the USB port, so you can turn it off, if you want, and there is a rubber seal/cover to keep rain from giving you trouble. Also, it's big enough to fit my Pixel XL, with a little room to spare, so should fit most every phone, except possibly the newest, biggest iPhones/phablets/tablets. Here's a link to one like the one I got: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorcycle-...item238c369e2d

From your link:
"from China/Hong Kong/Taiwan"
That explains the price. Sounds like it's worked very well for you, but it's not an X-Mount product, which also helps explain the price. I'm not a "never-Chinese" kinda guy, I just wouldn't want the OP (or anybody else) buying that particular item, have it break or never work for 'em, and not be able to get any warranty service or whatever because they didn't realize it wasn't an X-Mount product. I'm glad it's working for you, really I am. I might even try it if/when mine wears out. I just thought the OP needed to know what he'd be getting into if he bought that one is all. No offense intended.
