That sucks bro! It was 90 degrees here in SoCal yesterday!
I can't imagine having to change your lifestyle according to the weather. I didn't realize how much cold weather and snow affects your everyday life.
Yeah, tell me about it. I've lived in Canada all my life and I STILL hate winter! Winter is great when you're a kid. YOu build snow forts, you toboggan, school gets cancelled when there's a bad storm, etc... but when you're an adult, it just gets in the way and sucks all around. If I never saw another snowflake or day below 70 degrees again in my life it would be too soon!
This winter is going to ESPECIALLY suck for me since it will be my first since I got my hog, and knowing I own her but can't ride her is gonna be torture. [:'(]
This is also my first year of owning a bike, and it will be a LONG winter knowing it is there, and the weather is not going to cooperate. The only plus side is you get a legit down time to upgrade stuff.
Time for new rotors, pulley, engine chrome, Samson pipes, headlight, etc. Hope O.T. at work keeps going LOL.
It'll get plenty cold here in January and February (South East PA), but I'm not putting it away.
I have a higher tolerance for cold than most folks I know, after all I skydive year round and
I've jumped when its been as low as minus -25 F. at 14,000 ft in February. Factor in a 130 mph wind chill
and you are talking serious cold.
Ya just gotta dress right for it and its no big deal.
Got myself some solid cold weather riding gear and I'm good to go

I'm with ya. I'm not stopping. I don't care, just can't bear to quit. I'm in N. Ky/S. Oh, so we have about the same weather. As long as the roads are dry, I'll just wear warmer stuff. I got ski bibs and a huge coat all waiting on old man winter. Only thing I miss is all my riding buddys pack it in, so there is nobody to hang out with.
I guess in the great state of MN, when the Harley goes indoors the people go outdoors for some ice fishing, ey?
The rest of the state might go ice fishing but not me... Frozen lakes scare the hell out of me, and a fish is not my idea of a good meal. Hell I don't even fish in the summer time. That would take time away from riding, drag racing, and work that needs to be done.

I plan on keeping my bike ready to go on a moments notice throughout the winter. Even during the late winter months of January/Feburary there usually are a few tolerable days to catch some breeze.
So far this Fall its been quite warm for the time of year here in Cen. Virginia. Yesterday, November 13, was almost a tee-shirt day in fact.
