I on the other hand struggle with Sena set up. After pairing we can talk to each other (passanger) but... before I start the ride I will turn on Pandora and listen to music but as soon as I push the button to start conversation we can talk and after we are done talking music do NOT come back. I guess I am still in chat mode maybe?
I have to go to phone and click play on Pandora again to listen to music. Pretty annoying but I guess I just dont know how to use it.
Also feels like wind sound confuse Sena that I want to talk and cut the music as well to start chat mode
No way Sena works with my accent I guess one command I was able to make it work that was it so I am on manual mode all the way

Yeah do what I did and switch to Cardo!
Night and day better. My wife hated our communications system with Sena and when wired to the bike. Now she absolutely LOVES using the Cardo. It is a Miracle. She just powers it on and nothing else to do but use voice commands if she wants the volume higher, or lower, wants the radio instead of music stream.

Well dont feel bad. My southern draw causes me a little trouble with anything requiring voice commands. I work hard to pronounce words better. One tip that may help is always speak with a normal tone. If I try to speak louder it can be a problem.
Jumping in a little late, I had the Sena 10, gave the set to a friend when I bought the 30, absolutely love both. I had a problem with the 30s about a week before the wife and I were planning a major road trip, didn’t want any hassle so I decided to try the Cardo Packtalk with JBL, a few more features than the Sena, but IMO the Sena is better built. Still even with the Cardo the communications sometimes isn’t really clear. Well the other week I decided to surprise my wife and buy new helmets, and since Sena just came out with the 50, decided to go for broke and try the 50S. The new Sena is far superior to the old Sena and Cardo when it comes to clarity and volume. It may just be too loud if you turn it up all the way. My wife and I ride separate bikes, at 85mph I can hear her clear as day at half volume. I’m truly impressed and believe Sena really did their homework when they made this unit. I only have a few hours with the 50, but so far I’m extremely happy.
whats the hell is a intercom?? i have ultra classic but never used the intercom what s the whole thing that it does ?? dont need to ask anything from the wife or whoever is on the back.. so what does it do other than that
