It ain't happening yet, but if it does go through I'll be avoiding it like the plague.
From what I hear and have read in the news they will replace the current unleaded and super unleaded with this E10,don't think we will have a choice but to use E10.
This E10 fuel has been around for a while over in Europe and I'm sure if it causes that many issues we would of heard about it by now.

S'only a consultation at this stage, we've been here before and it was rejected then, with luck it will be again, hopefully nanny state has other things to worry about at the mo with Covid-19 and Brexit to pay it much mind.
If, and that's a big IF, it does get introduced I think they'll still keep super-unleaded, or I bloody hope they will.

It's bloody horrible stuff, eating rubber, swelling plastic tanks and rusting steel ones, I'll avoid using it for as long as possible, then if super-unleaded is not available I'll have to shell out for stabilisers and fuel treatments.
From what I’ve read E10 is going to be introduced into U.K. fuel sometime this year in all filling stations, but large garages will still sell the current E5 petrol for older vehicles. The problem with that, if the government go with it, is that E10 is going to be more expensive and MPG apparently goes down, so can’t see anyone other than the green brigade buying it. Hopefully our MPs will have enough one their plates with the floods, Coronavirus and EU negotiations to bother doing anything for a while.
Are you certain that Harleys sold outside of the United States are setup to be able to safely run the E10? I know that the MOCO has different rules to follow depending on the country the bikes are sold in. Im pretty sure that if its a new bike its going to be up to snuff with the new law but Id dig a little deeper to find out if an older model thats been exported will be ok!
