I had one of those locks and replaced it with a Disc Lock. The Disc was next to impossible get a cutter on.

Yeah. that was what I was getting at by asking why they had a lock case that clips to your belt, if you have belt loops for a belt you already have a lock holder.

I'm well aware of reasons to put a lock on a bandana or lanyard, myself I'll keep my padlock on the bike and and leave it to me or Dan Wesson if **** goes south.
