Wheres the dip ****??? Look in the mirror...lol...just kidding Doug. But seriously before you go any further you can go online and get a copy of the owners manual...thatll cover the basics of your bike. Now if youre going to do any of your own wrenching beyond changing fluids get yourself a factory service manual. Some good online dealers are good place to buy the manual...stay away from Haynes and dont you dare mention an online digital one... highly frowned upon here.
I tell all new riders the same basic thing..... get the owners manual and the parts manual, get a 3 ring binder and record your services, maintenance, accessories, repairs, general notes. Learn your fuel mileage and how large your tank is, how far you can safely go on a tank of gas.
You have asked a question that some will give you **** for. Some will give you decent responses. Don't take the smartass answers too seriously. Some forget how they started. Keep asking.
