Default Move recommendations...

I recently settled back in Texas from Florida. I need to move my motorcycle from my old place in FL but I'm unsure as to whether drive it to TX or ship it with a company. Granted I'd rather drive it but with all the things going on nationwide I just don't want to get stuck down the road with a lockdown or something. Any suggestions from anyone that has been on the road recently?

I’ve read quite a few ride reports from riders covering multiple states in their travels. No one is reporting any shutdown problems. If you decide to ship it, I suspect HaulBikes will do it for about $500. Good folks.

Will be in 2 1/2 weeks, to WY/MT/ID and Colorado. Not too worried.
You could U-Haul it if you don't want to ride. May be a good option in this heat.

That's a no brainer. Fly back and RIDE IT HOME! I did that in 2009. Relocated from Chicago suburb to Dallas, Texas. Flew back and rode the Dyna to our new home. My Wife enjoyed the long Road Trip.

I and 2 other Forum members just did a tour of SW Colorado, Utah, N Arizona and New Mexico.
Indian reservations for the most part were closed up, but could still get gas.
Hotels and restaurants for the most part were open. We didn't have any trouble getting rooms or food. In fact, most hotels are running specials or reduced rates.

Get a rental car drive to Florida, grab bike, drop off car, and ride back home.
If it was me I would hire it brought down here to Texas to me.

Probably less money and hassle to grab a 1-way ticket on SW Air vs renting a car. But, I’d agree on just having it shipped....probably other things the OP needs to take care of rather than the traffic, heat, and humidity there this time of year.
