I've always liked Shotguns, not too many around anymore for the reasons stated. I think the noise comes from the throttle and rider. I've heard stock pipes that were obnoxious because of the rider. Too may times it was late/early at nite.
You can do a lot with throttle control, and choice of gears.
Again I am the bad guy, because I think not everyone likes load pipes, and they will come down on the rest of us. You think I am the only person in here that has said drag pipes are bad idea? Did you get all worked up over them, or were you able to keep your emotions seperate.
IDK if you're a bad guy.....you are an idiot though that would get his lights punched out by the women in my crowd.
so if a guy said he was going to ride by your house at midnight with drag pipes, you'd give a hug and sloppy kiss?
around here we like the gals that sing soprano.
Of things to get bent out of shape about, f'n drag pipes aren't even close to my radar. Besides, I started riding in the 70's and didn't know there was anything BUT drags, lol.

We were just talking about at work, how people are such pussies these days, and not just the kids. You joke or hack on them, and people get upset. Its not like I was going to release my pet deer when he rode by. It screws up the meat.
Making a comment with my opinion about drag pipes, is not getting bent out of shape.
Why are you so concerned about loud noises at midnight? The meth wont be worn off for hours after that anyway.
Math story problem for ya. 24 hours in a day. I like my meth early, so I can get to bed on time. I bet your boss would prefer you did it in the morning too.
