I must have been lucky. The tech was experienced and sensible when we chatted. The staff on the showroom floor, including the Service Manager, were not though.

and you dont set torque with a rubber hammer. you use a torque wrench to set the torque.
Yes, I can understand that, but it is part of the deal, it's what we are buying. You walk into the dealer and there's a big window on the service area. "Come see, nothing to hide, proud of what we do" is what it says. Should expect customers to take them up on it. It's my bike, my money. If they don't like it, they should work somewhere else, or they've got something to hide.
