Default Ape hangers pushed forward?

Anyone have pics of Harley's of any model with the ape hangers pushed forward some?

I have 18's on my wide glide and I think they might look good like that, I have long enough arms that it is comfortable.

Thanks guys.

If you want to see some, just loosen yours up a little, push them forward and see. Takes a couple minutes to do that.

It's easy enough to rotate those bars, so try a couple of different positions to see what you like best. Nothing like seeing it in person, 3D beats a computer screen all day.

No pic's ,but i've had 18's on a shovelhead before and didn't care for that look at all. I've always adjusted my handlebars to be in line with the fork tubes. I think it just looks better that way and you will have more control of the bike.
My opinion does not really matter though

Four bolts, and you can get away with loosening only two.

I prefer the looks when they are in line with the forks but the #1 factor should be comfort. Loosen your bars, sit on the bike then close your eyes. Move them forward and backward with your eyes closed. When you find the comfortable spot, open your eyes and tighten them down. jmo

Not too far forward because I wanted to keep my windshield, but no concerns about looks if they broke the line of the forks, I'm not strangely obsessed.

This was my 2012 Road King, I really dug this bike, but went over to Road Glides in 2013. Hope this helps.

Comfort reach and control should be your primary concerns for safety. But from a purely looks perspective I think pushed slightly ahead of the line of forks (forward) would be my preference.
