Did 460 miles on a quick over night trip to Marlinton West Virginia.
We've been to Marlinton many times over the years. That region has some fantastic roads and riding. The Highland Scenic Highway is nearby. Any roads going E/W through the mountains will satisfy your soul if you love big curves and long views. My wife and I have been to the top of Seneca Rocks, along with our young daughter. We first visited that area back in 1980, and we still go through there every year at some point.
About 60 around the Tucson Mountains, Saguaro NP, for nachos and wings at Tinys. First ride with my wife in a year due to my hip replacement, winter up north and assorted ailments. Perfect weather for riding. Came home in the dark through the mountains with no traffic and the moon showing only a sliver of light at the bottom although the whole outline was visible. Low in the sky, it was a spectacular ride. Could have been a disastrous little ride though. On the way there before sunset through the national park some asswipe was passing the car in front on a 30 mph blind curve! Literally . Fortunately I was paying attention and was able to veer off to the side so this fool missed us by a few feet. It could have been one of those other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play? But alls well that ends well, so a very pleasant fun ride. Good to be riding again.

Cool. I am glad you got to experience those roads.
Anywhere near Marlinton its hard to find a bad road.
