I really couldn't care less what the '21 model lineup will look like. It will be the same old dinosaurs they've been putting out for decades, except there won't be as many models or colors. I can guarantee that most of us will be disappointed, as usual.

The only thing that remotely interests me is what H-D has in store in the near future to replace the big, air-cooled, v-twin, leg-burning engines to compete with the liquid-cooled Indian PowerPlus engine.

I've been paying attention to what Harley releases since 1980. 40 years. In that time I've been interested in the release of the big twin Evo, the release of the FXR frame, the release of the Sportster Evo, the release of the Twin Cam, the release of the Dyna frame, and the release of the M8 engine. Six things in 40 years. So in any given year I don't expect very much.

Well...yes, I agree totally. You described exactly how I feel about it. Hence I have not replaced my Ultra with a new model. Besides the Ultra, I have two other bikes in my garage that I'm very happy with.

Damn Jerry that Street Glide is gorgeous! Love what you did to that bike. Those chrome specials are nice. I took advantage of one of those deals shortly after I bought my bike and had the chrome front end done on my Ultra. It was called the Elbow Grease program where HD charged only 50% of the labor cost, or something similar to that. I think they should offer something similar, might bring folks back in to the dealerships and getting them spending $$ Here's a pic of the bike at Cooks Corner shortly after I had the chrome front end installed. I really think it makes such a huge difference!

As for potential rumors and some confirmations:

- Softail Deluxe, FDXR 114, Breakout are going to be discontinued
- Some sources also tell the same on the Low Rider (the chromed one)
- On the Touring line, the new CVO style filler cap, a new engine guard and probably a redesigned Prodigy Wheel.
- As for the Sportster, they are not going to be sold in most international markets (no word on US) and there has been some Revo Max sketches with that engine on Sportsters...
Thanks. That brings me up to date on the rumor mill in terms of what to possibly expect. Sad about the Deluxe, if that holds true. Love that bike. Didn't know about the others...... As far as the Sportster goes, I have heard about that one also and in fact I saw a YouTube video which had some sketches which had the Revo Max motor with a redesigned Sportster. The sketches looked very cool. They were not the same as the photo of the white "Custom" model that have been circulating recently. As far as the new colors go. I'll do a search for your post. I'd like to check that out.

I saw that also. It's branded as a Rebel model. Not my cup of tea, but interesting nonetheless. I didn't know however that the DCT used in the Africa Twin made the cut. It will be interesting to see how many of those bikes Honda sells. They're obviously trying to appeal to a whole new audience of riders. Definitely not for me...but there's a seat for every butt as the saying goes.

I can't argue that either. The prices have definitely gone up again, but seemingly disproportionate relative to what the cost of materials and labor would warrant. The new Ultra's are $5k more than what I paid for mine in '08. I'd expect there to be somewhat of an increase, but $5k? and presumably, only going up even more. One of the reasons I felt compelled to buy an '08 was that there were several upgrades that model year over my '03 Ultra. It got me off the fence and in to the dealer to write them a check. It was the first year for the TC 96 motor, 6 gallon fuel tank, 6 speed tranny, Brembo brakes with ABS, HK sound system & throttle by wire. Also the plastics had all been redone with a new material. No more chalky inner bags and the rear Tourpack was slightly redesigned which incorporated new lighting. Seeing all those changes really motivated me to place an order. Plus when I saw that two toned Pacific Blue Pearl/Vivid Black paint job, my mind was made up. I just had to have that bike and there was nothing stopping me. I haven't felt the same way since. Who know's what the MoCo has in store right around the corner. I might be surprised, or it may be just another letdown.

Only thing I have heard from my dealer is that they will be getting new model-year bikes in February. Harley will be doing new releases in the Spring now. The HQ has been pretty quiet about what's coming down the pipe. Usually they get clues or are told what's coming.

I read that the 1100cc Rebel will be available with the "automatic" Dual Clutch Transmission or a conventional manual transmission.
Suzuki shows no 2021 DR650 for the USA but they do show one for Canada, South America, and Australia.
As of yet, Kawasaki shows no replacement for the KLR650.
The big Thumpers are good do-it-all bikes that Harley and Indian show no interest in building.

I think releasing new models from a manufacturer that builds warm weather vehicles in January is a good move. I'm in Mi, most of us have our bikes put away till Spring, or May 1st. I have always bought my new Harleys in the winter, not much going on in Mi from December to May. Sad way to live for us, but family comes first. I just bought a new 2020 Sport Glide, I love it. I jammed 1,800 miles on it before Nov 20th. The 107 2020 M8 is a great motor, I love mine. Cant wait till spring of 2021 to hit the road again. Pan American should be a good seller, but I'm older and have no interest in it. A all new Sportster with the Rev motor would excite me to the point, I could be interested in buying one. Time will tell. I would like to see more chrome and updates to the Turing line. A 114" should be standard on them. Goodluck to the MoCo.

Thanks for the kind words! The bike is actually torn down right now waiting on custom paint, blue and black this time. Probably look similar to your bike! Lol, great minds think alike!
