Two Recalls--Info
Hey all,
I know these may have been discussed in the Touring and Dyna sections but I thought I would put them together here in case you missed them. I received both of these in the mail this past week.
Street Glide Recall--Improperly mounted mirrors may exsist on Street Glides that were built from June 27, 2005 through August 15, 2005.
Dyna--Certain Dyna FXDL/I, FXDWG/I, FXD/I, FXDX/I, and FXDP model motorcycles built from June 11, 2003 through February 2, 2004. The affected motorcycles have a condition that may allow the throttle cables to contact the tunnel portion of the fuel tank. This condition could cause the cables to wear through the tank leading to a fuel leak.
Both letters "strongly urge" us to take these bikes to our dealers for the "appropriate service".
