As has been posted ad nauseam on HD forums, that battery tender lead is too fine for the jump pack load. You may get away with it, but you can just get something like the Earth X lead.
It's a thicker wire and you can still use a battery tender.
As I expected, BT wiring is not the proper gauge. Neither is the earth x lead as it's rated for 400 amps max and the NOCO GB4 is 1000 amps. But I do appreciate
the information. I'll search for one that can handle it.

I think I was the one to start this bad idea. I'll go ahead and look into this plug kit soon.

I use the earth-x cable, and it works just fine. Don't forget: current is "on demand", meaning the load will only draw the current it needs. Keep in mind that most MC batteries can only supply around 300 - 320 CCA. Your starter will never draw more than 400 amps, and if it does, you have bigger problems.
I've got it's big brother the XP-10 and the pigtail on the RK. Jumped several cars with it the last 2 years. Been a life saver for the iPads & phones during power outs too.
Get the Noco GBC009 if you also want to use it as a battery tender cable. https://www.electronicexpress.com/ca...92/Noco-GBC009
This one is becoming increasingly hard to find though, and Noco don't appear to carry it anymore.
You can get the Noco GBC007 as an alternative, but it doesn't have the SAE adapter so you'd have to have it in addition to your tender cable.
Other than that it's the same 8 AWG cable, just with a different adapter. https://no.co/gbc007
I purchased this one off Amazon after reading the reviews and it has worked well, jumped my Tahoe and a few friends bikes easily. If I had to do it all over again I would purchase the NOCO one others have posted here based on the fact that the alligator clips are not as bulky and easier to reach the terminals on some hard-to-reach bike batteries.

I've been through two XP-10s and both ended up swelling and the case opening up.
The first one was replaced for free by Antigravities but when the second one failed I decided to just go for a more disposable priced unit.
The XP-10 did work well even after it swelled up but they are just too pricey to have to replace every couple of years.
I ended up getting a Yaber brand off Amazon and it's worked well for about a year now and was only $65.
