I have never once had a problem with them, even when I was a cop. In fact, a small group of them came to my assistance when I was a cop. Just don't cross them though, they are like Lays Potato Chips, you never screw with just one.

That is a great book, and it's ironic that he finds that his 1% brothers care for him as a human more than his Cop bro's. It also shows that after two years under, and ton's of money spent, that he only comes up with a few simple arrests. Not the big huge crime group that is always touted in the papers. Yeah, I admit some guys are bad dudes, but they would be bad if they wore a patch or not.

I also read that book. Thoroly enjoyed it. And came to the same conclousions you did about the number of convictions. Although apperently they havnt finished the case for the RICO charges. But RICO is an entirely different can of Horsesh......
