Carhartt hoodie under a jean jacket up to about 64*, then the hoodie under my vest up to about 70*, then just my vest. Been wearing them that way for over 40 years and never had the hoodie blow around or fill with air.

Best flannels Ive ever worn. Check out what some of them go for on eBay. Those are ones that sold out quick never to be made again. I have a insulated Snap On one, a S&S one, plus 5 others in the closet. Wife has 4 also. Super nice stuff and extremely comfortable
