I don't think you should feel bad about saying that to her, it's a serious situation on the road everyday, particularly for us bikers.
Maybe you "raised her consciousness" a little about being more aware of her surroundings driving a 2 ton piece of metal, particularly when it comes to motorcycle awareness. Hell, you could have saved another biker's life indirectly...down the line.
"improving biker image" my ***.

Jeez! TCC, first you get almost run into a wall by a cager and then you get run over for trademark violation. Time to go back to bed.

I wouldn't feel bad about the cursing/jestures...please realize she "could" have killed you.
Glad things didn't turn out for the worse. Heading home from work last night, interstate 80, I slid over to
the left lane to allow oncoming traffic to merge in. Noticed a semi was clippin' along pretty well, and
thought to myself, Iwonder if he sees me? Well, not one to cruise along side of semis, I hammered the
throttle to scoot on by this guy. As I'm halfway past him, he merges over into my lane, forcing me to
either move onto the shoulder, or become road pizza...of couse I'm choosin' shoulder and continued to
complete my pass. I looked up into the semi's cab as i passed and felt the need to flip this guy off.
His expression left no doubt in my mind that, in fact,he hadn't seen me.
I didn't feel bad about it then, down the road, or even today.

Glad she missed you.
You really shouldn't feel bad about cursing at the idiot who almost ran you over because she wasn't paying attention. Itis a perfectly acceptable thing to do after almost being killed.
But if you are worried aboutthe"biker image", you should have apologized for being there, and begged for forgiveness. NOT!!!

I've been known to scream cuss words out the window of my cage when someone does something incredibly stupid, nothing like improving the image of Grand Marquis drivers...
