My two sons and I went Friday for our skills test. We all passed on the first try. Its was very exciting. I was a nervous wreck watch and hoping my boys would pass. I was more nervous for them than me. Great board.
Excellent! Congrats! Now, that endorsement on the license says you can legally ride it around.. The courses offered out there such as the Beginner Riders Course by MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) will help keep you alive while you putt putt.. Take a course or two if you haven't already! Keep 'er verticle and ride safe.
I have a 2000 Heritage Softail. My son age 24 (4scott4 on this board) has a 1997 Road King. My youngest son 20 has an 800 Susuki Volisa. We have been taking private classes from a friend of mine. He trains the motorcycle police officers in Cobb County, Georgia. He really puts us through the mill. Here is a picture of my bike.
Wally,
You didn't miss it I just added it. I'm trying to get him on a Harley. A friend of mine has an 2000 883 Sportster for $4500.00. He is going to buy it, if he can sell his rice burner.
The MSF course is a good thing to have. I have already taken it twice and Im only 20. Took it once as a weekend course when I was 18 and again at 19, as a 3 credit hour college course...This one was 2 days a week for 1.5 hrs for a whole semester. It was a good GPA booster. Also at my age this really really dropped my insurance.
