Since I am brand new to Harleys & motorcycling in general. Aside from the local Harley shop, Im not sure where to buy accessories etc. Im looking to replace my stock rubber handlebar grips with something a little more appealing and comfortable. I dont want to stray away from the retro look of my nightster. Any thoughts as to a nice replacement grip for my bike? Also, if anyone wants to share a link to a website that as a good selection to look at, that would be cool as well.
I had these grips put on this year and hated them. Took them off after a few months and replaced them with the ISO grips. Love the ISO grips. The nostalgic grips have a **** on the end that digs into your palms(at least mine it did) and kills your hands after about 30 minutes of riding.

harley makes a "nostalgic" style grip with an old school look. might be what you are looking for. i'm thinking about them for my bob.
I have the Kuryakyn Pilot grips with throttle boss. Since puting them on I have experienced very little wrist tingle and numbing. And that is not even using the TB. Cheapest places (with excellent service) you are gonna find Kury and other aftermarket parts are M&M Cycles and Easter Performance. They both sell direct and on ebay.
Eastern Performance = easternpc on ebay
M&M = mbk111 on ebay
American Classic Motors is on ebay and has great prices as well. I don't usually recommend them because some people on here have had problems and I don't want to stir the pot. Personally I have not had problems.
I've had the Kury ISO grips on other bikes and yes they're very comoftable. I know have the Harley diamond plate grips and like them as well. The nice thing about Harley grips is they come in 3 sizes to fit your hads. The Kury grips were a bit too large for me.
custom Chrome available at any HD or after market store
just make sure you do not get the wrong thickness for your hand as some may look cool but if they are to thick your hands will start to cramp up
also on the other side if they are to thin you may feel numbness in your fingers and cramping in your wrists
Custom Chrome does make a nice leather style grip with the orange and red flames that would look fantastic on your bike and the more you ride with them they will form fit to your grip and hand
