Battery recommendations?

I buy Deka AGM batteries from my local Family Farm & Home. AFAIK, Deka makes the OEM Harley batteries. Make sure you get the correct CCA for your bike.

There really only two battery makers for powersports in the USA. East Penn/Deka & Johnson Controls. The stock OEM battery comes off the same battery line as: Big Crank/Deka/ThrottleX/O'Reilly/Duracell gray case/NAPA/Duralast & others. They have also made batteries for Yuasa. Interstate is made by Johnson Controls. But the Duracell gray case, it has a two year warranty & you can pick it up at Batteries Plus & cheaper than OEM. It's the one I use. There is a black case Duracell also, but made in China. Yuasa are great batteries too. Drag Specialties I believe are Yuasa made.

Don't cheap out on a lithium battery and get stuck. The battery racers use in some superbike teams is made here in the USA - Speedcell

Get it from the Harley dealer. That way the cables hook up right and you dont need those stupid little spacers that come loose

I just ordered a "Mega Crank" from batterymart.com $89.95 and free 2 day shipping. The Big Crank is backordered until 3/1/22. Stats looked a little better on the Mega Crank. This one is for my 03 Fatboy, but I may look into the Duracell gray case for my Ultra after reading a little further down in this thread. I have seen them available in my SAM's Club. Thanks for all the info guys.
