Kuryakyn makes an electronic deer whistle that emits a sonic tone. About 70 bucks. It's called a Hornet. I put one on my new classic. Don't know if it works, but I haven't hit a deer yet.

They should make one that scares the ground out of the way!
Course, I havent hit any deer or ground yet either and I dont use those devices.

I'd pay big bucks for that!

Deer whistles are in the same catagory as the elephant repellant I use on my lawn.
The neibor tells me I'm wasting money and time, there's no wild elephants within a thousand miles of here.

If I install these on my tool box my deer old lady might stay out of the garage long enough for me to get anything done .I think i,ll give it a shot

I guess I can't say I'm 100% convinced they work, but where I live, just in October, there were 8 bikes in the shop with deer strike damage at one time. Makes you want to try anything to avoid being one of those. Have a good friend who was one of them last year. We live in Ohio where more deer are killed by vehicles than hunters !!

If I recall, Consumer Reports tested them and concluded that they didn't work.

They used to be on all the oilfield pickups around here, and most of the guys out in the filed concluded that they didn't work, and most of them found out the hard way.
