I don't believe that used Harleys will ever be as cheap and plentiful as they were pre covid. The Harley "boom" of the late 1980s - 2010 ish is over and the supply of nice used Harleys will dwindle.
Seems like I have had a lot less rain for this time of year. Usually have standing water in the ditch by the road and any low spots in the yard. I few of the ditches around here that are near the roads I ride are usually up to the road or are on it. I did go through some deep water in Fort Myers near Edison Mall last week.

Im only about an hour north of you but its been raining torrentially every single day with few exceptions. But as we all know in Florida it can be pouring on your house and sunny on your neighbors
I was coming home yesterday and right before a turn towards my house there was a solid line of rain across the street. Literally a straight line of active rain and only a foot away dry street. I turned right, then left and went 300 yards and was home. Not a drop hit me. Then just as the garage door was closing the rain hit like an air tanker dumped a firefighting load on me. Freaky weather down here
When I lived in the somewhat frozen northern states, this time was always leading up to the better deals on stuff people didn't want to store over the winter. Always saw a dip in pricing as the mercury dropped in the thermometer.

Yep, unless you've lived there you wouldn't understand, right? I've seen lightning striking a railroad trestle with LOUD thunder on the intercoastal waterway at Titusville without a cloud in the sky (with me in a boat near it yikes where do you hide?). I've seen the static rain sheet you're talking about - I sat out a shower for half hr or so and got on the bike afterwards and 100 yds down the road it was dry as dust; the whole shower couldn't have been a 1/4 mi in dia. Also near us at Geneva, a hailstorm dropped orange-sized stones in a path of destruction that looked like a tornado hit the ground; in fact there was a fatality due to it. Once I was on the Indian River in my boat in spectacular clear sunshine and my wife spotted this cloud out in the ocean miles away moving FAST. I got anchor up and got the heck out of Dodge, but by the time I got to the ramp a mile away it was drenching torrents and blowing trash cans around and blowing limbs off trees, stinging rain in your eyes. By the time I got on the trailer, it blew over and we pulled out of the harbor in calm sunny conditions. You learn to respect the weather down here.
ETA: sorry for the off-topic long post. Reminiscing. I moved away from Oviedo 33 years ago. Was still old cracker FL (heck I'm an old cracker) out in the rural area where I lived.

Florida Winter lol. So high 80s instead of high 90s. Whoop-dee-doo. The only good thing is it doesnt rain torrentially every fn day. Thats about it. I guess 85 is better then 95, but not so much. I miss light jacket weather. Maybe in the northern parts of the state but in SW, not so much.
